Animals have become my favorite subject lately for taking pictures and
the weather has been so wonderful that I've already gone to the zoo
several times this year :) Also animals really don't care if you take
their picture once, twice, or ten times...
I thought that this guy had only one eye, but really his left lid is closed apparently zoo pictures aren't that interesting to him
I was able to get really, really close to the giant tortoise because he was located in the petting zoo area
The lorikeets are my favorite. Whenever we were at the zoo a few weeks ago they were pretty wild and I ended up getting nibbled on. THe zookeeper said that this was the young group and they'd been cooped up all winter
